Hi everyone,Need some help how to make warning light for brake pads goes off.I changed front brake pads both sides this morning by myself. (I checked rear pads too, its still in good condition).Afta all done and clip the pad wear sensor back into position in the outer pad and make sure its wiring is correctly routed, the warning light still appear! According to HAYNES SERVICE AND REPAIR MANUAL book, they didn't mention about the warning light will goes off afta replace with the new one.

Cause from my case last time...the ABS light keep on appearing after ride and got it checked with my specialist in ipoh....he confirmed that unless the pads are in good form and sensor is still working well then it is likely caused by ABS pump or motor(not sure of that) by some internal wiring fault. they have so far received numerous case on that and decided to find the root cause.

wellguyz it was the internal flexible wiring...and u don't have to change any part as they have started to fabricate the wiring by themself... :getyourfactsright:

results....no more "ABS" warning light

Its not ABS light.
This is brake pad warning light. Its comes on when the brake pads have reached the safe wear limit.

had mine change recently too...u need to get the sensor together too..n after u install both the brake pad n sensor...start ur car n keep on pumping the brake pedal..turn it off n start the ignition again...try a few times n eventually the light will go off!!
