i think i have d vogtland spring for e34 520i, look very nice when lowered but after i pass d car to my wife, changed back to ori., spring shd b at d mechanic.

Hi macgy, is your spring for 12 valve 520i? when you bought it? how is the condition? how much u r willing to part with? please pm me. thx very much!

I used to have Vogtland springs on my e34 525i, after 6 months I threw them in the bin. DBKL has them in some dumpsite. I figured that I could not do justice to anyone even if I gave them away for free. These are crap.

why do u say so bro??? care to share your thoughts on d vogtland??? as i know they make one of d best springs on d market even they make for other tuner brands like koni, tc kline and so on

On my e34 it crashed like hell, it was low but way too soft, the suspension was bottoming out all the time. I had it installed together with new Bilsteins. If you go around a fast corner and there is a dip in the road, the suspension will bottom out and then bounce back violently and scare the shit out of you because you lose control.

I switched to Eibachs and have no complaints. My Bilsteins have since worn out and I'm using standard Sachs shockers now and have no problems either.

Stay with the well known and well tested brands, they are well known for a reason.

hmm, i thought vogtland is best combined with boge oe? In western country this is a very good combination.
Anyway thx for ur suggestion

morpheus, it is for 520i 24 v, i used it for a year, not sure if mechanic still keeping it.

Hi, can u give me your hp number?
& can u help me ask ur mechanic whether the spring still around and can fit into my 12valve 520i not?

I'm kinda interested la cos juz change new boge, u know, new shocks take times to seat so now very big gap in the front, weird...:stupid:

hi morpheus,
just check with mechanic, he is still keeping it. just pm u my HP.

Standard $200. If you find hard, then may get $120.
