ventilated seat option

I was just wondering what possible reasons there might be that very few models available in Malaysia come with the ventilated seats (heated and cooled - you can't get cooled without heated, go figure) options? That would be more useful to us in our climate. Looking for a grey import from the UK is fruitless since most of them come with heated seats only!

I have ventilated and heated seats. The ventilation is exactly that, it is not cooled. But actually that makes sense coz a cooled seat would just cause your muscles to tighten up and potentially cause cramps. It does however prevent sweaty backs in combo with the aircon. I actually use it on long drives with vnetilation and heated function on to keep my bad back from playing up. Also use it that way after going to gym so muscles have time to cool down while staying dry. I know it seems counter-intuitive for our climate but actually it works very well to have ventilation and heated function together.

Rayhwc, what model? Grey import? I gave up looking for a F10 M5 with those options in the UK.. merajuk, now looking for something else haha

Its a 535 F11 which was personally specced and imported back when I returned to Malaysia. Ventilated seats are not high on most people's priorities so it could be hard to find. For me it makes a big difference as I used to get sweaty after a long drive in my old E39's unventilated leather seats . Not a prob anymore.
