valvetronic motor problems on e90

Car battery changed? Weak battery will trigger Valvetronic error.

at the moment diagnose says ECU prob !

What is the error message that relate to ECU? I just diagnosed my E87 and the result is as below. I was told beside original BMW servo motor, VDO also produce as OEM and cheaper. I may want to try VDO.

Bro,

I've changed the battery a year ago. Not BMW battery though at BOMIN. Do you mean I should change the battery again?

p/s Met you sometimes ago at Optimum. You've been complaining about your N42/46 engine

If its really the valvetronic -can get from CSS Auto for new VDO one - I just changed mine a few days ago - you can bargain price with him

I only managed to Register the battery using BMWlogger yesterday. I believe when I change the battery last time, the workshop did not register the battery to DME. I'm monitoring the situation.

terry8, since the scan was done at Bomin, I will use CSS or BA price as benchmark should Bomin want to charge me higher.

I didn't trust bomin coz he refuse any warranty even tho it suppose to be new. I am getting 6 months warranty from CSS. For my case I paid RM 100 more getting from CSS
