Dear guys,Got a question to ask...what is the validity of the NCB? I have sold my car and have not transferred the NCB yet coz I have not gotten another vehicle. I have a letter from the bank stating my NBC percentage. My question is, how long do I have before I need to transfer / utilize my NCB before it is rendered untransferable anymore? Thanks in advance!

If i'm not wrong for a person that has a full NCB..which is 55.5%. once your vehicle is sold and you haven't bought a new vehicle your NCB will be deducted accordingly on a yearly basis just like how your NCD percentage increases yearly till you have purchased a new vehicle.

Hi jefferey,

Does it mean that, assuming I sold my car in january 2011, if I utilize the Ncb say in dec 2011, I still enjoy the 55%? Coz haven't one year yet? Does it work tat way?

Thanks bro

Bro, the answer is that is drops every year in the same manner you accumalated the NCD until such time it is used on another vehicle.

Yes that will be correct

Yes this is correct. It rolls back with every year just like how it was accumulated annually.

Interesting ruling.. so they reward u for not involving in accidents in your own car and they slowing remove the reward when you stop owning a car, even though u still drive the spouse or family car and stay accident free.. hmmnn....
