Turn signal become hazard light

Dear all bros, my E36 just got this problem, turn left or right signal become hazard light on, so needl to use hand for turn signal liao.. please advise..

What happen if u turn on the hazard light?

Hi KennyToo,

I've had this problem wt my E36. Changed a "T" shape switch(black) under the steering, dunno what its called. Cost about RM90. . .

When i turn on hazard light its normal, turn left or right + hazard still same as hazard light on, check the signal delay and pinjam new one for test still same, hai... give up and send to wire man check today, is alarm box rosak.. :stupid: hahaha... change it cost RM180.00 (control box + wiring + 2 remote) settle liao.

Alarm box rosak? Gee, how can that affected the turn signals? Of late, when I engage the left turn signal, sometimes there's no indicator at all...no "tik tak tik tak" sound, no green arrow light blinking, nothing.
Could this be some loose contact points? Faulty fuse? or something else serious? Any idea?
