Funny problem with turn signal after setting to triple turn signal

Hello to all Gurus.

Newbie here a week after aquiring a 2nd hand stock 2008 320i SE (local) - Titanium Silver.

I encountered a perplexing problem and I hope the sifus here can shead some light on. I changed the turn signal setting to triple turn signal and encountered intermittemt issues. From time to time, the turn signal will not work as well as the wipers and the high beam headlights. No set pattern. It just quit working from time to time and then come back on.

I switched the turn signal back to flash once and the problem seems to go away.

Is this a known problem/firmware problem? Or is there something wrong with my car?

Spoke too soon. After behaving itself yesterday, the issue resurfaced again today irregardless of the turn signal setting.

I believe it's a good idea to get the car scanned to find out the root cause. Probably an error was logged. It's quite a rase case though.

Yup. I'll get it scanned this weekend now that the problem has resurfaced.
