Thinking hard between 2005 E46 325 msport and 2006 E90 325msport

Looking at both local AB unit...Both are equally(almost) old but the price diff is about 50-60k. The E46 somehow look more sexy to me with the curve and the interior is more driver focus...whereas the E90 is more clean and minimalist approach.The E90 will be defunct come next year so I'm not after any latest model but more for the drive.I have no tested the E46 yet but the E90 is fun. Hard to find a place with 2 model to be tested back to back..ANy thought or anyone in same predicament before?

Wouldn't a last leg ie E46 in 2005 be more bug free vs a newer model of E90 in 2005 which is essentially on its first phase of life?

I agreed with this. i also think the E90's price will drop significantly next year when new model (F30 if not mistaken) arrived. RM50-60k is a lot of money unless you just cant help but like the E90 look over the E46 which obviously u don't think so.

I think the E90 already seeing some price adjustment over the last few months. I certainly like to see additional correction and I'm sure the E46 will also see but prolly minimal..

Selva n demon r terrible fellow.... Didn't u see I intentionally not to mentioned anything above 2.5... Lol! I did look at the 328 or 330 but the running cost would have been much higher although the 328 did not much more than 325. I'm complete noob n don't want over my head as my first venture.

you should try both car, and later can decide about it. But I agree that E46 is more to driver oriented, while E90 is kinda, minimalist?

back and forth between the 2..I can get older (2003) E46 for cheap and have it as fun ride whilel keeping my truck as my primary ride.

As for E90, I would have to get something later (ie 2008/2009 instead of 2005/2006) as new model from BM on first 2 yrs are notorious for bugs.

Just get the e46 and wait for the new F30 when it arrives at our shore next year ;-)
