hello, guys. my name is amint. my brother has just bought an E46 318i. now he is looking for a place to go do his bodykit. since you guys have recommended theva bawah pokok ss19, i would like to know the price of the bodykit he is offering. i went to see him with my brother yesterday. i thought his price is going to be reasonable since u guys have said so. so my brother asked him about the M3 bodykit for E46 including the wide body arches. theva quoted him rm3800. my brother didnt say a word.just "hmmm, ooo...." i think lousy bumi fibre also lagi murah. can you guys please help me about the price? i am also thinking of doing my car at theva's. can you guys advice me on this? how much should the price for all of the below:1) M3 bumper=?2) m3 side skirt=?3) m3 rear bumper=?4) wide arches (most importantly)=?can you guys help me with the quotation of the above individually from 1) to 4)?just now my brother told me he already got everything for the conversion except the wide arches. how much is it for the wide arches to be done at theva's?

well, i went to mike's as well. he has 2 choices of metal to be used. aluminium and galvanised metal. his workmanship is quite nice. plus i bet its gonna be very durable due to metal utilization. if langgar, ketuk rm80 only ma. for me, i am not as rich as my brother. i asked for a quotation from mike, he quoted me rm7500.note: i didnt ask for whole bodykit as i already have one
1) customized from bumper: rm1800
2) customized cutting on bonnet=rm500
3) arches=rm1200
4) spacers=rm1500 (locally made)
5) new coat of paint (same black paint on my car)=rm2500
this is well beyond my budget actually. i am actually driving an audi. hehe. but i love bmw too. so dont kill me, pleaseee....

E28 bodykit is almost RM1500,so if E46 body kit cost RM3800 i think is fair futher more his quality is far more better than bumifibre.If you are in to quality stuff than i suggest buy ori body part.
mike's place is not near subang airport. it is near usj goodyear court. near taipan la i might say. anyway, rm3800 seems to much for me since it is only fibreglass and the bodykit only includes arches, front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts. no new bonnet or spoiler or m3 accessories.

the quality of theva's is that good is it? actually, i tried his bodykit last time on my honda eg9 (b16a) way back in 1999 when i was in form 5. that time, the workmanship was cun. but the fibre was very brittle. i had to fix it 4 times in 6 months coz kept cracking. i went fed up and took out the hold front bumper and replaced with small lip (original) plastic back. so side skirt and back skirt looked big but from look small coz only consists of lip.
funny thing is,now my audi is facing the same problem again. fixed the whole bodykit at ST fibre. then one day i went up genting. on the way down, i was driving fast. then hit the bumps and potholes. my whole bumper was smashed to pieces. my already smashed bumper hit my front headlight and broke them(headlight). talk about a bad day. so i went and change my headlight to angel eyes and used back the original bumper with again, plastic lip. so the side skirt and back skirt are big in size but front looks not proportional coz only has lip.
so now, i am a bit confused. i know theva's job is great and all. but it is still fibreglass. moreover, even though bumi fibre is lousy, but they still have to pay the high rent of the shop. theva only has to buy baja for his pokok ma.so theoretically, theva should be charging less???(just a thought). mike's job i think is the best but the budget a bit too high for me.
what do you guys suggest? oh ya, theva charged me rm650 for my front bumper, rear bumper and the z3 shark fin (huhu.that time everybody wanna do the z3 shark fin ma) way back in 1999.
ps: I know there are a lot of supporters of theva out there. I am supporting him too since I have sent 2 of my cars there previously. But we have to face the fact that fiberglass is not really tough. I hope I don’t offend anybody.

I'm not familiar with either of the vendors but I always stick to the adage that you get what you pay for. Very often you will find that quality and cost are inverse to each other. Second, I'd rather spend good money on the important bits first, like coilvers, sway bars, strut bars, brakes and wheels/tires before adding unnecessary appendages to the car's body. But either way its your call, good luck to you.
The M3 bumpers/flares are cool but if you puhlease do not upbadge your 318i as an //M3, whatever you do.

yeah, i agree with u. yup, my bro wont put m3 badge on the car la of course. while i wont put rs4 badge on my audi. (i am planning to have rs4 wide bodykit on my car).
i would like to know, how much is the wide arches to be put on the E46? or E36? coz i would like to put it on my car as well
