:D hey roland, may i ask why i want to change to mtech2 from m3 style??
i'm actually on mtech2s but thinking of going for m3 look front bumper but retaining my mtech2 sides and rear..reason being i can't get a good fit for my mtech2 front bumper.the gap is just too big for my liking.plus the m3 bumper's front intake is just huge, just nice for an intercooler to sit!!

:) hey roland..
i'm not really sure myself how much the ori mtech2 costs but its expensive for sure..i think upwards of rm8k.
FBs are cheap but they don't really work la..my rear mtech2 looks like the real one but it actually isn't functional.the rear 'diffuser' actually disrupts airflow as there isn't an anchor point below it thus leaving the leading edge of the bottom of the diffuser to protrude into the airflow beneath the rear bumper.a diffuser is supposed to smoothen the airflow beneath the rear of the car to create an area of low pressure that creates the sucking effect towards the surface of the road but the FB ones actually disrupts it.
so if u ask me,i'd probably go for the originals on hindsight..
oh yeah, can u check for me too if Singapore is cheaper??

hi , guyzz ... actually i just brought in the M3 bumpers (front) and rear 1 with Mtech II bumper from Singapore ... the price is damm cheaper than here (KL) ...
and 100% ori (OEM) ... my fren work in there , n the shop not onli selling BMW but also Benz parts ...

THe onli problems is the shipment from there to KL ... quite expensive (RM 600) . but total is also cheaper n cheaper than here ...

So anyone interested can PM me or send me a email ... i will pass my fren contact to u ...

There are also a lot of Bimmer things there 2 ... n of course the price u will totally agree with

He use to supply a lot of parts to KL shopssss...

:D haha supergripen, I think most people will leave the aluminium struts out lah... For me and dare I say you too, love the damn 2 struts. I personally have comments from people like too "beng", dun suit the car lah, etc.

Me? Loved them, installed them and still LOVE them!!!

Yo supergripen,
I will try to find out the $ for the M-techII kits in S'pore and let you know about it. As for the M3 bumper price, looks like we have to wait for yohji to feedback to us.

BTW, if ever you want a Bilstein abs or Eibachs, PM me. I can get it for you from S'pore. You won't believe the $$$. just ask Sithwarrior. :D

all guyzz...

I think i had made a false quote here la ... Soli guyss... forgive this new boy ...
The M3 bumper that i brought from Singapore is made of ABS .. not original M3 ... but other than that all is ori ..
and the side skirts(mtech II) together with rear bumpers (mtech II) also is original 1 .

whole set cost : $ 2800 (singpore dollar) not included transport fees (RM 600)

M3 bumper(abs) + fog lamps (ori) + fog lamp covers (ori) + air ducts (ori) + number plate + front map + brakets (ori) = $ 1300

Side Skirts (ori mtech II) = $ 500

Rear Bumper (ori mtech II) + rear diffuser (ori) + rear rubber liners = $ 1000

If u think the M3 bumper cost a lot compare with here (RM 2500) ...
then u r wrong .. coz just look at the package carefully ...
the price here RM 2500 are all comes with taiwan made accesorries like fog lamps, covers and the most important is without air ducts ...
and my fren there all comes with original except the M3 bumpers ...

sorry guys .... i lost my fren contact n email coz i lost my handheld yesterday ... so anything u can still pm me 1st .. until i get my fren contact ... then i will forward to u all ...

so if u guys think RM600 transport fees is too high .. then i recommend u all to install the bumper in singpore ... then will save ur $$ la ... but still the old bumper will make u crazy to bring back here ... or just abandon there ...
:p
