Same with me ...

I hv changed ;

1) The rubber lining
2) Drainage (clean it laaa ..) pipe
3) Motor - because bila tutup, cannot align.

But after 1, 2 and 3 - so far so good.

i think it was RM 270 (or 370) - from Bavarian Auto sometime back

Yes ... but u really need to be good. Taking out the old one might give some problem .. due to aging.

advisable to remove the whole roof then it would be easier, but unless you have 'rubber hands' like 535i, you can try changing it when the roof is on tilt and partly slide to the back

technical solution: get sarrdaji to wopen turrban when you wopen the sunn-roof larr....

Speaking about mobile acquarium...mine became just that coz the drainage hole was stuck on all sides ...so when it rain heavily my car will rain inside also....i clean out the hole and was fine...i did not replace the rubber but it looks easy to replace. According to my friend the rubber is only to block out the wind sound when driving at high speeds.
