Stock F30 328i vs Golf R

Get a 135,335 or 535......stocks golfs will need lots of efforts to catch up with you.. : )

If price difference is not taken into consideration, how would you choose between the two stock cars? I know that it's two totally different cars, but in terms of handling and ride quality, how would you choose? I have a Golf GTI and I loved it, but I have never driven an AWD R or a RWD BMW. Can anyone give some advice?

Performance Figures of stock cars:
F30 328i: CKD : RM 289,800 : 180 (245) / 5,000-6,500 : 350 / 1,250-4,800 : 0-100 5.9 s (6.1 s) : 250kph
Golf R : CBU : RM 268,888 : 188 (255) / 6000 : 330 / 2400-5200 : 0-100 5.7 s : 250kph

U are all wrong la. diesel bmw engine is the best in the wild. All this 328 la, Subaru la, golf type r la, pls throw in Klang river. If its not Diesel engine, it's crap. Even though I cannot afford a diesel BMW engine, I use diesel logo and put my exhaust senget pointing down coz I want to pretend its a diesel. Everytime I fill up at petrol station, I stop at the diesel pump first and pour 20 cents into my tank. Just to be like diesel car. Woo!

I thought your car is running on 100% diesel? Got TDS badge some more. But I have to agree with you BMW diesel is damn power, our club prez also owned one diesel powered BMW.

FD2R is a poorly made car. drive in Malaysia, your body will be met with jolt and bumps.

the ride probably the poorest in the world. its unrefined, noisy and also looks shouty.

straight line, the 328i will eat the FD2r (stock) for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Personally I feel the design of the golf is not appealing and it's not luxurious despite the high price. Afterall, "people's car" which is what the word volkswagen means in German...

also, on the FD2R, you miss a gearshift, 328i will smoke you.

yes, the FD2R will enter the corner faster, but thats just about it.

the 328i will pass the FD2R 95 times out of 100 on the highway (driven by the similar skilled drivers)

By that argument, would you say that a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Mercedes AMG would be poorly made because of the bumpy ride due to a firmer suspension and more rigid body? You sound exactly like James May hahahaha.
