Steering wheel for E39 : M Tech vs M Sport

Hi,I'm looking for replacement to my standard multi function steering wheel. Between M Tech and M Sport, which is is better? Look and feel. Can it fit directly to E39 without additional wiring to make the multi function work?

Sorry for my ignorance. Does M Sport package use M Tech steering wheel?

i can see some difference in the multi function button beside the spoke is about the same. Not sure about quality of leather and the grip.

M Technik / M sports same. some people call it M sports some call it MTechniks

As what bimmer73 said, I think it is the same. They came out with various 'facelift' but still either M Sport or M Tech or M Technic. Perhaps some minor different like material and grip and the buttons.

The 2nd one is not for e39, mate.
