Steering adjustment manual lever?!

Hi guys, I just realised that the steering column adjustment for 3-4 series is actually manual lever instead of powered like in the 5 series. Is that true? I am currently driving F10 but thinking of changing to a smaller car. Its either 330i or Q50.
