Start the car

Hi All,

When i start my car, i will hear "truck" sound (looks like from the gearbox) except when i cold start my car.

Besides that, when i push stop my car, also have truck sound (seem from gearbox) occasionally.

Please advise!!

It sound like "Tak" sound, the sound only appear when I start the car.

But when cold start the car, the sound won't occur...

How do you know it comes from the gearbox? I would suggest to u to open ur car bonnet and try start to replicate the sound. Then scope down to know where is it coming from.... engine, gearbox or elsewhere...

Depend on your budget. Sending to authorised workshop is the best but most people send to other bmw specialist.

check out the workshop used by owner. there is a thread mentioning the workshops.
