squealing brakes

I am currently struggling with squealing brakes. These are the combinations:
-started squealing with used Original brake pad with original disc around 40k km
-changed new original pad with the old disc - squealing comes back within 1k km
-maintained the same changed pad with new Bosch disc - squealing comes back with 1k km.

any thoughts and suggestions?

Best is to use all NEW original pads and disc rotors.

looks like you had quite a bit of pad/disc combination.
i dunno what discs i have now but had roadhouse? pads.squeal a lot.

now i have ori BMW pads.squeal gone.

maybe you can try roughing up the pads by using coarse sandpaper or scrub it on the road and refit....

Change to EBC yellow stuff or other performance brake pads, at least the squeals come with better grip

the combination now is ori BMW pads with Bosch disc. I'll try roughing out the pads again. it's getting too loud now. Tks moots.

Herbert: what I worry is ori pad and ori disc might still squel like it first combination, then it would be an expensive experiment.
