New Sony Xplôd MEX-1GP AM/FM CD/MP3 receiver with 1GB of flash memory.The Xplôd Giga Panel has 1GB of flash memory and a USB port engineered into the faceplate. When the faceplate is removed from the receiver and connected to a Windows® enabled PC, it is recognized as an external drive. With the provided USB cable, users can quickly transfer and save MP3 and WMA files to the faceplate. Also plays CD and MP3 on CDs. Available in February 2006.Sony also launched the new CDX-GT100 CD and CDX-GT200 CD/MP3 receivers make it possible to use portable music players in a vehicle with a standard 1/8" mini jack cord, which is not included through an auxiliary input on the faceplate.
