hi all..sometimes when going through uneven road (u know how bad is malaysia road..)i will got this strange, high pitch sound, Last time it only happenes if i accidently hit some bumpnow its more oftenthe sound like worn timing belt...but mine is M43 engineand the sound will goes off after 15 minutes of driving or soi try to switch off the aircond than the sound will goes off, and on again than the sound will come.. (and foes off by itself after 15 minute)anyone know why got this sound?i feel very strange, i thinking might be the air cond compressor beltbut i recall, the belt spin all the time, no matter the compressor is running or noti dono what cause this noise.... feel so strange

The belt is spinning when your air conditioning is switched off yes, but your air cond compressor isn't activated.

The mechanism is magnetic I believe. Saw Naidu removing mine once.

Maybe you might want to check your air cond compressor to see if there's any issues there?

Honestly it's rather hard to figure out what sound is coming from where. I have weird sounds as well coming from the front of the engine during cold starts and I can't figure out where its from :/

maybe from the secondary timing chain or the vanos unit.
