Silicon Removal

Hi guys. i had taken out the rear bonet spoiler and instead of using double sided tape only, it was stick together with silicon glue (black). my problem now is i cant get rid of this glue since it become harden and very strong bond to the body. Is there any solution to this ie : chemical etc ?

There is this solution that they use in the shop its yellow oil like im not sure what it was... but it sure does remove any glue/silicon off your paint FAST!

will the chemical damage the existing paint ?

sorry late reply, no it wont... its specifically designed to remove glue/silicon and tar if im not mistaken... do ask your local accessory shop... they are master on removing these things...
