Seat belt sensor!

Dear fellow forummers, my E90 LCI 2009 comes without the left front passenger seat belt sensor. It does come along with my Pre LCI E90 2006 though. I was told by Ingress Auto that all year 2009 BMWs come without the front passenger seat belt sensor. Can anyone testament to that?Thanks!

Quite a poor show huh, for a luxury marque which touts the safety of its cars, to skimp on such a basic thing as a seat sensor. Cars much lower down the pyramid have them.

What's the point of having a seat belt or seat belt tensioning mechanism when the passenger is not reminded of wearing seat belt? Worry not! They still have airbags..

Yup, the worse thing is the older version has it and not on newer versions. I thought with the imposition of the rear seat belt regulation, sensors will be on all 4 seats!

Anyway, any owner of 2009 manufactured BMW can testify to this? Or just simply my car has this part missed out?

as annoying it may sound, the sensor should be there...unless there is an option to shut it. i believe it is a safety feature. a blogger just bought a 2009 325 n there is 'the nagging' on the front passenger seat.

I have that feature too in my car too - the front passenger seat belt sensor.

as much as i share the bad feeling of being short change, but for me I find the sensor so annoying. I have rather no sensor attached to both my front seats, still hate the feeling of a must to wear d seat belt. Sorry again, its just my personal opinion.

Wearing seat belt is EXTREMELY important! You will never know until it is too late.

on the lci or even on the pre lci 325...i have seen inconsistancy in accessories...some batch has a ash tray at the back while some doesnt. some has a window curtain at the back windows other dont...
