SatNav TV

There were some previous threads on recond cars, one of which caught my attention:http://bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3468A number of these recond cars come with SatNav TV installed. As we don't have any navigation system in Malaysia, what other functions can we use the SatNav for here in this country?

Tried playing some DVD and VCD, but error message came out : Cannot read a disk. Any helpful hints from fellow forummers?

if yours is the Sat Nav unit for DVD, then it cannot play standard DVD only the MAP DVDs, if you want to play VCD/DVD, must install another unit until someone find a hack for the DVD- It is capable but does not comes with the necessary codecs.

You mean install another DVD/VCD player, or is there a plug-in module available for the SatNav DVD unit?

yes, install another player but use the existing LCD screen.

you will need this kind of unit..

also need FM modulator for sound le..

uncle z, i got that e-bay tv-in-motion plug-in delivered last week.

put it in myself and voila! - tv-in-motion

but tv-in-motion is tv-in-motion - not perfectly focussed all the time.

will have to install this carputer so can get cyrstal clear
hindi movies for those long journeys up down PLUS highway.

how's your i-pod/aivx project going. i will also be interested for
short-cuts - just so can get hindi movies and my many slutty starlet
interviews.
