i trade in my new e90 rims 2 weeks old for a second hand bmw rim which looked better, but had to do extra paint job. has to pay rm 850 for it, one day after fixing i realize two rims are dented. so i asked for my ori rim, they said it has been sold. so wat they did was ketuk two rims and gave me back, i had no choice but to use back the rims now after ketuk it has became worst, there is no other 17 inch rim in the show and they only have taiwan replica rims which thay are asking me to add another rm 600 for it. im really sad , and angry. i feel like bombing the shop for really cutting my throat. anyone can recommend me to get a good rim, my car is only two weeks old n i really dun feel like driving it cos of the rims. sad sad it shakes alot.

ur suppose to keep ur stock standard rim .....but for now,wish to know where is ur location?

i can intro u to a nice rim shop,who can give u a superb service n even after sales servise too...they are simpy nyuym nyum...moreover,most of their customer are bimmer...

btw,are u looking for ur standard rim back? or u wanne buy new rim? or wish to buy gd condition 2nd hand rim?

Be very careful when picking a replacement rim.. the is a quarter million Ringgit car we are playing with and capable of speed that can make it to the Guinness Record. U certainly don't want a failing rim while attempting a record breaking run.. the same reason why u buy a spanking new car instead of settling for a used unit!

Try hang around more often in E90 thread and u will easily get back your rim. Too many people like u (selling original rims after only weeks of possession)..

Or go the replica route.. , top up the RM600, your head is oredi wet!

I think your rim can still be repaired if u can find a proper rim repairer, but I wouldn't suggest driving it high speed.. ... give me the rim la, see I can get my shop to make it bulat again.. I drive very slow wan, so I don't mind using a repair rim..

Another lesson learned here. Make sure you get the tyre shop to spin the used rim before mounting the tyre to check if the rim is bulat. Very easy to spot! I always do that!

thank you guys, i have already upgraded my rim to ac 5 replica 18 inch, with michelin tires. but its a bit noisy, and im a bit scared cos its no more on rft, i dun have a spare tire . by the way im from bangsar. actually im not rich the car i got is a present, most of the bimmer owners are rich already so they dun mind lah forking out more money. i park my car at home most of the time since petrol price is really high.i take lrt or bicycle to work. * might degrade to 17 inch ori or 18 inch ori with rft-ori is always best, anyone want to swap also can.

hi guys, sorry forgot to inform its bridgestone shop in sunway behind sunway college- there is only one bridgestone with white board there. there is this shop exotic mods if im not mistaken selling the white ring bulb for e90 thay call it LIC for rm 300 taiwan made but they say some e90 after fixing it gives malfunction message so they say nasib lah.Has anyone tried it before. oh yeah the rims and tires i fixed was second hand .

hello mate dont joking lah u play e90 its not an ordinary machine mate..its a true machine design by professional UDM engineering...play e90 = banyak wang lar...one more advice..don't downgrade urselve lar...change 18 to 17..i learned from experience before..if u scare petrol then use bike lar..we have to upgrade ourselve lar every day...be confident lar...take care lar bro ok...get advice from sifu's before purchase something ok...cheers..

oi bro.. learn ur lesson la. dont simply change to third party stuff even tho cheap cos ur UDM is very sophisticated(which means sensitive ) to any modifications u make, especially electronics and electrical. dont fck with it man. if u want to, get expert advice from the kind folks here. :smokin:

my 2 cents advice.. always keep the stock ori rims.. you mite not know when you need it.. even if you upgrade yourself with the original aftermarket rim (like AC or what..) the orig rims will come in handy sometimes..

p/s i still have my ori e30 14" rims .. hehe
