Heheh...look carefully. It's 'increase' by RM200-RM300. That would mean prices starts from RM2,400-RM2,500 for 3er for full leather.

RM300 can't even get you PVC......can it???? :blink:

Was at Carbi Deco yesterday to get quote on changing leathers.



One of their senior marketing guys attended to me and was promoting a synthetic leather-like material called Autexx.


No odours, much softer than normal leather, UV resistant, will not form creases or cracked up after prolonged exposure to elements, and good for 5,000 sit-ins, same as real leather. Autexx is breathable too and its pores are bigger.


Carbi Deco charges around RM2500 for leather on 3-series but only RM1,500 for Autexx. The texture is also like leather. One full-day job.


Autexx is quite new to Malaysia, according to carbi which has been dealing in the product for abt a year.


what are the comments of those who have used Autexx?

Anyone change the Autexx sits before at Carbi Decor?Any comends?They quoted me RM1400,if full leather is RM 2800.

Guys just a suggestion try coolmax (pic below), the material is called fibre leather, not really feels like leather but is a cheap alternative. Only available for E36 though...... hehe its currently on my car.... dont have money to go for leather yet.... hehehe
