Hi guysChecked out some 2004 recond E60 530, selling for about RM280K. Anyone here driving any of these babies? Would you know if this is the latest engine or is there any upgraded engines like the 525 N52 engines?Cheers :top:

You can get cheaper for 04, 05 should be around that price range. Was quoted 280 290 for 05 at aman razak bangsar. Try to get uk model.

Really? Cool, is that a new engine or the same one? Did the 530 have a new engine like the 525 did in 2005?

Have you gotten yours yet? Wanna go check out together and do a group nego?

Yup, got mine 2 months back. RM280K is too high for 2004. Should be around RM26xK now. This is the old M54B30 engine. You want the new N52, at least 2005 and newer. But if your budget is really RM280K, then that should be the range for the 2005 models already, so even better!

do 2005 model with N52 engine have start engine button?

And does the 2005 new engines come with the new I drive upgrades? Don't like the look of the old screens which are too small....

If you're talking about screen size, then the year doesn't matter. If you get one with TV/Navi, then you get the 8.8" screen. Otherwise it is the "small" screen at 6.5". Mine is the full 8.8". But it has the old version which is slightly brownish (the idrive menu screen). Still, easily upgradable to the latest software (sliverish screen)

Cool! Can you let me know where you got yrs? Want to check it out. Also are there any issues with the car I should look out for? Gearbox/engine/air cond/iDrive/ etc, etc?

Got mine in PJ. Let me know if you need the exact contact. I'll PM to you. Just went there and saw a few 5s there. But really, the key thing is having a good mechanic. Once you find the car you want, you have to at one point before final confirmation (normally after downpayment) take it there to have it checked for problems. Normal problems with this car would be the ignition coil (i have changed 2 of mine already, but during warranty so OK). Others are normally OK unless you get a lemon. See a few cars before you make up your mind.

Good luck bro!
