Dear moderators and admins,
I would like to suggest if thread/topic starters could close their own thread.
For example, if a person puts up an item for sale and once the sale is complete, they are able to close the thread.
Another example, if a person asks a question and the question is answered, then the person who started the thread can then close the thread or leave it open.
3rd example, if I create a suggestion post and the suggestion is either accepted or rejected, then it can be managed properly.

This will enable
- In the classified sections, other people to easily identify if an item is already sold or not
- In other topic areas that certain topic with a definite answer is managed well and not bumped up again and again.
- At the moment if you look at classifieds, it is difficult for people to click into each thread one by one to view if the item has been sold
- In the suggestion section, at least we can also monitor and track. An engaged forum member is a happy forum member and they will return
- Giving a little more power to the folks does reduce the amount of admin work for the moderators and admins
