Hi Sifus,

Just changed 4 new tyres today but I feel that my car will slightly turn to left, and they even charged me Rm50 for the alignment.

Anyone here can share their experience with me? or which workshop I should go?

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Can try Quicksave in USJ. Good service with reasonable price.

I think your problem is steering not aligned properly, just simply drive back to the workshop you did the alignment, they can fix the problem really quick.

Since paid for alignment RM 50, can ask the same shop to do alignment again

Thanks for the advice, true, maybe will give them one more try since I've paid them.

Just to add the balancing is not quite satisfying too, steering had slight vibration at speed 120kmph to 150kmph, kinda disappointed when I driving late night jus now...

I saw someone share a workshop using hunter machine to do alignment but it was located in johor, sigh..

another place some of the guys go to is MPS in Sunway. Good results, but on the pricey side.......

Thanks Gendong,

Mind to surprise me how pricey is that? haha..

if less than Rm200 still acceptable, if above that might opt to go back AB right?

My last visit (mid 2015) was charged RM160+ for alignment and balancing for all 4 tires, excluding GST.... guess the rates are more or less the same.

.....oh and did i mention it takes at least 2 hours for them to do their stuff? boss will QA the work before letting u go off...

wow nice!!!

Really appreciate all the informations.

Sounds like they really doing a good job there.

Thanks a lot

Autopex Glenmarie. Better than MPS imo. Cheaper too.

Full alignment for all 4 wheels + on-wheel balancing for front 2 tires. 18inches - RM124 all-in.

The only complain is the long q. Make appointment before going over. They tune for track cars as well.

I did tyre rotation and alignment/balancing at Tyre Pro, Kota Damansara. Everything was fine and I paid over RM1XX only.

PJT at Jalan kuching, e39, e34 alignment only $28 , front and rear of course, can't remember on the wheel balancing for front tyre..but very cheap also.

what about those stupid shop that always says "bro ur camber lari oledi.. need to change"

I just replaced my Mark X absorbers at PTC Jalan Tun Razak (bonus - just walk from my office) with original units way below quoted by other workshops. Highly recommended. (Disclaimer - I do not profit from this posting)

Thanks wingzee for the recommendation.

Got my f10 with 19 inch wheels balanced today at autopex. Very satisfied with their work. Meticulous and competent, they even clean and wax your tyres after the job

Be prepared to wait though. Mine took around 1.5hours to complete from start to finish and that's provided you have no queue of cars waiting

Apparently these guys also do major other overhaul jobs too. Saw a 7 with engine sludge problem at the workshop. They are stripping the engine naked to clean and rebuild

Friendly boss also

For those covered under the 5 years free service, is alignment and balancing covered?

You may ask you SA. But if not mistaken they do not cover. But do not take my words, as I am not very sure. :p So you better ask.

BTW if your warranty does not cover your wheel balancing and alignment here is my experience.
Last year sent my car to "Autopex Glenmarie" Thanks to wingzee for the recommendation.

Took me about 2.5 hours, as that day have quite a number of cars lying there.
They did a good job for my alignment as they tested my car for few round and adjust till my alignment is perfect.

As for balancing I requested for on wheel, and after I did that my car won't vibrate a bit even I'm driving at high speed.
Previously 120kph already felt that annoying vibration on steering.

So I would like to recommend you to go Autopex Glenmarie. Cost less than Rm150.

Hope this helps.
