Radiator leaking from the coolant reservoir.

how much is reasonable price to pay for this changing the coolant reservoir casing? How much is the labour for such job??? Any idea bros?:blink:

fer e46, coolant reservoir wld b bout 270-290 approx, then u gotta top up the coolant which wld set u bck another 50 bucks or so ... labour wages wld b bout 30-40 bucks my best guess.

coincidenttally i'm experiencing this as well!!>. and what a bugger.. right after i flushed out the entire radiator and engine too.. the bugger decides to spring a leajk on me!!

anyway...i'm about to attempt to remove the overflow reservoir to check for leaks etc..doesnt seem like a difficult job...

it looks like theres a gasket at the bottom of the reservoir where it is seated into the radiator body assembly, acting as a seal. i suspect there's my leak... eiter that or the resevoir is cracked.. which should be also quite easy to mend using epoxy etc...

anyway...does anyone have any experience with this DIY?.. thanx for sharing.. i;ll also post results of my "experiment" here if its succesful...

(if not..well..next post u see from me would be to find a new reservoir from someone....or a new radiator!!!!!..hahha!!)
