Toying with the idea of owning a classic Beemer .... just wondering if anyone out here has one of these oldies. I'm just assuming the cost of maintaining one can't be very much more than the upkeep of an old e30 or e36.
 
I think maintenance for a classic motorrad is much more expensive compare to classic e30 and even more expensive than maintaining e36. e30 and e36 you can get the parts from chop shop... but motorrad, where to get it.... and not many superbike workshop can do it.... It's base on my experience of owning few type of big bikes...

But I'm more concerned about issues to look out for, like the bushes & ball joints of the Para / Telelever suspension, oil seals for the drive shaft, engine sensors etc. No issue with parts availability as they're available new.

Just wondering if these are the major items to look out for .... or are there other more critical issues ... :2:
