730i E32 1990

Hello Sifus/Guru/Tuan,I'm new here.Need some advise from Sifu/Guru/Tuan.My name is Man Digo from Kuantan. Owned a classic Beemer 730i 1990. The car is maintained by John Lim R&B w/shop in Ktn.Recently after spending some money on engine and under carriage my beemer having another problem.The speedo meter is not functioning. According to my mechanic i have to replace the whole intrument cluster assembly which we had try to find from some of the reliable sources but could not find replacement.Anybody here Sifus/Gurus/Tuan can assist me to solve the problem.RegardsMan Digo (019-9879858)

try dismanting the instrument cluster and check on the plastic pulleys inside the meter. Most of the time, these plastic pulleys are worn or broken thru time. can be replaced.

or wait for me when i come down to kuantan and we see if can DIY...:wink:

I travel to Kuantan on a weekly basis for work, always stay overnight for 2-3 days.
