greetings to all especially to the elected committee members of this well establish and prestigious club..i am here not to turn anything around it is just that i have received a or me personal PM from one of your committee members stating that what i have advertised in the ads forum is not right and that it is in appropriate for me to do so.as what i have had mentioned to a personal email to him stating that what i do best is selling cars and that i thought it was actually okay for me to advertise what services that i provide.i am here honestly to make new friends and maybe contacts and maybe who knows if i am lucky maybe a customer or two, but then if he thinks that my sole reason is to market my product then i am sorry to be ever acquainted with a club like this.honestly i have been introducing my services and products to numerous car associated clubs and honestly this is the first time that i have gotten a PM in my mail box on this matter. Well there is always a first time for everything. Well anyway if the committee thinks that my thread is steering up any bad vibes to the club, please do delete the thread.anyway just to be fare, do take your time and read this particular thread and please be fare to me. Anyway this is basically what he quoted to me in my PM:"..greetings to all..have actually posted a couple of threads before i found out bout this one..sigh..silly me..anyway im sheikh n im like in the vicinity of TTDI..would be nice if theres like a place where some of u guys jam on fridays or mayb weekends....u know for a glass of teh tarik and roti canai..do let me know..should be interesting meeting new people and looking at new faces....anyway wassalm to the muslims and a good day to all.. sheikh.. i think yazid's comments are fair. the club welcomes you. however, we are cautious about our forum being used for commercial gains. to be certain, allow some introductory time.. use it with sole purpose of letting us get to know you as the BMW enthusiast that you are, and for you be familiar with individuals here. exchange non-commecial posts here on the forum, and meet us during official events or ad-hoc teh tarik sessions. once we're no longer strangers, no harm in some friendly trading amongst fellow enthusiasts. once more, welcome aboard sheikh..

It does not matter if you are friendly with other club. We dont who you are. Just get to know the people first, then maybe business will follow.

There are a lot of people who pretend to "make" friends and contact but have abuse the privileges (free advertisment) of this forum.

So be nice..

Don't take to heart with the pm bro ... The rest of the forum members here are a cool bunch of peeps. We are just wary of people that advertise commercial postings and the committee member are just trying to protect the club members and forum members from scammers. So no hard feelings bro :top:

P/s: Once we get to know you better we welcome you with a bigger open hand if you can give us better pricing or better discounts then what the market have to offer

dont worry too much about it bro... it's a standard notice to those who post other than newbie introduction in their 1st post. Just come to our TT or HH & have fun. The committee are actually very nice ppl.

since the start of the forum, we have always discourage commercial postings for various reasons including con men, not to say you are one, but we've come across before few years back.

If you're here purely for commercial reason, then u can seek your opportunities elsewhere. No pun intended but we don't want this forum to be a 'pasar malam'...
