Guys, See if you cud answer this one

Those things circled in red provides chassis support & is available only for Ci model. My question, can we order it? does it have a part no? is it illegal to weld it to the strut tower of coupe/sedan E30s?

to share my opinion and views

1. yes you can order it
2. i believe an otai has done it before on his car, a black 4 door
3. search bme e30 catalog for the part nos
4. if you plan to keep the car, then go ahead, else you may rn into problems later with jpj as they may think it is cut n paste car( me thinks) or you can check with your friendly neighbourhood jpj representative for more accurate info

question to you
1. why do you want to add that part in your car?
2. do you do alot of tracking to increase rigidity?
3. your abs and springs that hard?
4. depending on the welder, heat will weaken metal if not done properly , you wanna take that risk?

see the spot in green...ada sikit crack there

was advised by our friendly BMworld mechanic to go for this option

sapa itu otai...must pay homage ler

this otai also has a e46 M3 and a fast 12v e30....

this part can be ordered, i almost did... but after that you dun need the strut brace anymore..
welding will be trickey cos one part is welded to the shock tower, the other bolted to the right inner fender..

you mau masuk track kah?

if so, double seam ur shell lar.....cos surely that would be all over and better.

..what does this mean, what is done, is it additional welding to the suspension mount/ housing area ?
can any shop do this ?? roughly how much the cost ??....i think even if not for track purpose, good for the @ 20 years old car for safety...
