It's about time to replace my brake pad and i have checked with a few spare part shops and workshops. The price difference is about twice between ori and OEM. Can anyone tell me their difference? In terms of mileage/lifespan?

Im replacing my rear and it is left with 10% at 33k mileage.

You should not really be considering mileage/lifespan with something as important as brakes. The question should be how do the 2 compare regarding performance. My e60 has, I think, non BMW brake pads on the front, whilst they perform ok the squealing from them is embarrassing. Next month they will be replaced with BMW items and hopefully will have a quite life.

true that. The performance/brake effectiveness is my first priority. I have read alot of places and people been saying they are the same but i doubt so. BTW, how long did your brake pad lasted? both original and OEM.

it is ok to use OEM pad for rear but recommended to use original for front pad.

BMW do no have facility to produce brake components, be it ABS servo, caliper, rotor or pads.

They are all OE from companies like Bosch, TRW, Brembo, ATE, Jurid, Textar, etc.

Ori BMW means there's a BMW stamp on certain items. I'm on both TRW (rear) and Textar (front).

using STOPTECH pads in the front and ATE in the rear . A lot more aggressive ,less dust and does not squeal; but not great when cold.
