Proton announced the recall of Wajas fitted with rims manufactured by a vendor code JIL. It seems they will replace the wheels for free.Why they don't recall all the cars with faulty power windows huh?

AFAIK, JIL is the common code for most jap spec rims leh....

well this is what Sharul of Proton Care says...

"If your rims has the words 'JIL' near the air valve, then you get new rims FREE.. if nothing stamped there, it means from JRD, tak payah tukar beb.."

Actually it's JWL. It's some sort of Japanese standards certification for alloy rims. It is not a brandname.
