Pricing of E46

Would like the assistance of E46 gurus. Thinking of upgrading to e46 2004 from e36 1999. AB has offered a e46 2004 at RM170,000. You guys think its toppish? Mileage so far is 30,000 km.Looking forward to your input.Thanks again.

Recond 2002 318i Jap/UK specs (facelifted model, 2.0l) already going for RM170,000 in Kuching, so if it's with a full service record, I think the 2004 car's worth a second look.

Its reasonable I guess. Quite a high mileage car for 1 year tho. Some lucky owners got their brand new (0 kms) E46 318i lifestyle edition with all the goodies ~210k.

The thing about used cars, is that the condition depends on the previous owner la. Lower mileage cars will be less susceptable to bad ownership I guess. Things to look out for is if any of the body panels have been repainted. If its mint and pristine cond, its ok price IMHO.

RM170k for a 2004 car is real cheap from AB even with the high mileage. Something like that would be going for RM185k last year.

Agree with e46Fanatic though, the mileage is quite high. Is this the oriental blue from the Kuantan branch? (Wxx 19xx i think)

170K is cheap from AB.....When I got my car 2 months back the used 2004 318i was going at 185K.....Buying from AB you be assure the warranty of parts for another 2 years and further more the keep the service records of the car....Good Luck on your search...

Saw few units, Japan spec 2001 318i, full m tech kit, selling for 155K. can also consider lah ? You can then save the money for mod.

On warranty, I dont think you get 2 years warranty for used cars from AB. If the car is 1 year old, you get another year's warranty. If the car is more than 2 years old, AB gives only 6 months warranty.

If the 318 is 'exclusive' model it would be a very good buy, given the extras that come with the 'exclusive' model.

Today, I just booked a year 2000 Japan-spec 320i with full m-tech kit for 154k.

Is the price good?
