Dear Sifus....I am a newbie, my name is Peter, am driving a E36 1998 model, my problem is my power window does not close properly. Usually after pressing the button once, the window closes. But recently i have to keep pressing the button to shut the window. Sifus need your help......Thank you and have a nice day.

I'm guessing you're talking about the driver window. It's probably the power window switch that has worn out. I think a new one would set you back a little over 100.

No lah. I think your window is a bit sticky. try to grease the rubber seal with silicon grease.

There is a protection on the power window, If it detect too high current, it will auto cut out. Just grease the sliding part and it clear the problem. You can compare the time to slide down (open) and sliding up (close). It should give you an indication of the speed. compare it with other windows that it working.
