Hi,Has anyone out there ported / polished their m20, m30 engines before? If so how much and whats the results like?

if u are using a superchip,straight flow exhaust and fully synthetic engine oil
then u will see that it will be a lot smoother on all rpm range.Got it done for free when my mech overhaul my m20 don know how much it would cost maybe rm200-300++ :lol:

porting is not easy, especialy on a UDM... must make sure the person doing it knows how.. some more need a benchflow equipment to balance the flow of ports..

did on my wira 1.6 before definately is good rev better and the eng much smooter with better pick up. for udm not sure but need some skill to do this, make sure they do the valve also......

ported my m30 when I did a top overhaul last time and I must say , I could feel the difference. But only do it if you are opening up the head for overhaul purposes. Don't overport.
