was wondering whether is any alternative ways to clean the polish rims to new condition other that using metal polish....would it be detrimental to the rims if i would to use a orbital polishing machine to do the job?

Orbitals aresafe as they won't even give you sufficient polishing power. I'd give it a miss as you'd get better polishing effect manually. Metal polishes like Meguiar's Gold Class Metal Restorer are pretty effective for the job and has a pleasant scent to boot. It's hard work but there isn't any alternative

Doramon,

Here's what a little elbow grease and plain ol AUTOSOL (good and cheap)
will do for your wheels!

Somehow AUTOSOL shining does not last ..... maybe 1-2 weeks .. At least for me, that is ...

I guess time will tell....
It's been 2 weeks already so....

Will update as soon as shine diminishes!

now i use autosol....later use polishing wax (for car paint) hehehe....and finished it off with wd40....less dustand easier to clean and dun have to clean the wheel once a week
