Hi,I'm a newbies here.Hope all the sifus can assist.i plan to get a e46 now but i wish to know what is the difference for 325 facelifted, 325 special edition, 325 m-sport and 325 smg.thanks alot.:wink:

Facelifted has different headlights, front indicator, side indicator front fender, hood and tailights. Facelifted starts from year 2002. Not too sure about special edition but m-sport has mtec bodykit, round steering, sports seats, larger sport rims and mtec springs; probably have more features that I don't know of. SMG is bmw sequential manual gearbox. It is a manual gearbox without the need for the driver to engage the clutch. It has an actuator that engages the clutch. All the driver needs to do is to change the gear using the lever on the steering.

Up to individual preference. You should take your time and test drive all available. Don't rush into getting one. Take your own sweet time and choose. I took more than a year to get mine.

2001 - e46 prefacelift to msport (mtech I)
2002 - e46 facelift to msport (mtech II)
end 2002 - e46 facelift msport with SMG available.
So, all SMG version equipped with msport (mtech II)..
I think so.
