You like to feel the rush of the wind fluffing your hair in the open-top? You don't like?

I LOVE!!!! And with my girl by my side or passing gals checking it out, OH YEAH BABY! hahaha.

Edit: I have seen that video, that blue and interior goes perfectly well. I have even had a dream where I was sitting in one ( when I actually wanted a black ), in my dream I was in a blue convertible.

Sometimes in Malaysia people say weather doesn't make owning a convertible 'realistic' (Wah liao! so hot one here in Malaysia-u so stupid buy convertible-u know or not?), or a coupe 'sensible' ( u stupid son, how your father can sit in that low car-he cannot bend his arthritic knee for so long already. Worse more-after seating down, how can he get up??!!, Aiya!!! Why you don't buy four doors like astroboy told you lah...you make mummy's heart broken and make mummy cry, cry again, you know-and so much money also you spent on what E 4 6 car...where got car name after alphabets one....???why so funny one?? E46, E60, E90 make mummy so confused!!!!!))) ....but it would be fun to own one even for a year, wouldn't it, Megalord? To be like Neo-to conquer your fears and achieve your dreams....

HAHAHA, Priceless!! AWESOMELY SAID! We need more people like you on this planet bro. To mommy I say ,"Watch me drive mommy, then you would know what this Rock is cookin!" :D Hehe

Buy a coupe if:

1) It's ONLY a - weekend/fun car/bring your wife or girlfriend to a special occasion/I feel like cruising alone to get rid of stress or to think things out/I feel great when girls check me out - ride.
2) Because you have no practical use for the back seats except to use it as a temporary storage space.
3) It's a hot car and it's even hotter if it is a convertible.

With that said, in my humblest of opinions, because of all the reasons listed above, I'd rather get a two-seater rocket like a Z4. And because we all have to bring Mummy and Daddy or guests or kids or the dog or the cat or the in-laws etc out once in a while then get a ferry car, meaning a car to ferry people around like a Avanza, Estima, Ipsum, Veilfire, Starex, Elysium, Alphard etc.

In fact with an Elysium, you CAN ferry Mummy and Daddy and guests and kids and the dog and the cat and the in-laws and the kitchen sink plus luggage all the way to Genting and arthritic knees wouldn't be a problem because hey they are stepping down from the car and not climbing out of it.

With these two vehicles, this means you get the best of both worlds. And if you can really afford it, get a daily drive car where the maintenance is bottom-line cheap, it's reliable as a brick and uses RON95.

For me, I got the E46 to ferry people in style and because my Dad wanted to give a knees a break and four-doors is more flexible. My daily drive is an auto Kancil. My Z4 is on hold and when kids come along, the a bigger ferry car will be added to my car porch.

A person I know, daily drives a Kelisa, ferry's people and goes long distance with a Mitsu Airtek Turbo and takes his E46 for that need for speed sessions. Another daily drives a Vios, ferrys with a Avanza and when the need for speed calls - takes his coupe.

Salut

..also for the same price, u can get a bigger CC 4-door of the same age which obviously drives better. :4:

True, true. At war is ever - the wants of the heart and the needs of the life.

Owning a BMW has always been the passion of the heart. Period!

Practicality has nothing to do with it...

I couldn't agree more on this..

A coupe of course!!

Coupes don't seem to age as badly in terms of looks vs. 4 door sedans due to their rarity. In most cases they are marginally lighter and faster as well than their sedan counterparts. In Malaysia its even more exclusive as 2 door coupes have much higher taxes making them cost a lot more than the sedans.

Someone told me recently that 2 seater roadsters are small pen15s cars. Since I heard that, its hard to get the perception off my mind now each time I see some bloke driving one haha. Because of this, I am not much of a fan of 2 seater roadsters but still love coupes as its not as overstated and somewhere in between a sedan and a 2 seater roadster.

Owning and driving a German sports coupe is just one of the things you must just do at least once in your lifetime :)

I gotta ask you guys something though. This one has been a little tough for me to pick.

BMW 135i Coupe / Convertible or BMW 335i Coupe / Convertible?

Basically the 1 Series Coupe / Convertible or the 3 Series Coupe / Convertible?

Which one would you guys buy?

to OP:

u know that u want a coupe, u just want ppl to tell you otherwise... i say, go with what you want. there are too many practical cars you can get, therefore you can always simply grab a cheapo one when you need it.

Thanks a lot for the reply. But what about between the two? 1 Series Coupe / Convertible or the 3 Series Coupe / Convertible? ( Picture above )

For me, I'm voting for the 3-series coupe..size is just nice..not too small, not too big :)

1 series coupe for its sheer rarity here.

3 series coupe for its sheer body lines.

Was stuck in the usual Fed Hiway congestion yesterday when I saw a white E92 coupe behind me. Looks damn imposing man from my rear view mirror.

I thought might be M3, end up, just a normal coupe.

So imagine that, an E92 coupe with those elegant and lovely lines, being able to make people do a double, or even triple take... :)

What is the name of this song and the singer????? Going mad!!!

E46 Sedan is more like Maya, not too common, everyone wants to at least ride her once for the experience even by those with discerning taste buds, a tad more expansive to maintain nevertheless, but she aint a keeper...

E46 Coupe is more like Megan Fox, not too young, but still fresh looking and full of energy. Seldom seen and usually stands out in a crowd. Just looking at her gives you a rush! Everyone wants to ride her. A tad more expansive to maintain than her other siblings but well worth your time keeping this one as she's a foregone eye candy

E92 M3, she's like Emma Watson! Very young, full of energy and have loads of pixie dust. Very seldom seen and would surely stand out in a crowd of E46 Coupes... Maintenance? One who owns a harem never talks about costs! Not many have what it takes to tame this beast although many dreams to. Surmount her and conquer your fears, only then will you be worthy of her keep...

E64 M6, she's more like Nicole Kidman. Refined power with sultery curves, a grand dame! One only dreams of her in one's lifetime but never actually seeing her. She is never in a crowd as she's above the crowd! What's there to keep, as she's the keeper and not you...
