bro alan.....walau i dun mind leaving my gf 4 dat car man hahaha.......heard its bout 628k...saw in motor trader. should b d brabus kit. dunno its a v8 or not. aiya but still prefer m5....

That dup sound is from the rear axle of your car. This is a common problem in e46 and could not be eliminated entirely. The best thing to do is just change the rear axle oil. This will minimize the sound but will not eliminate it entirely. :rolleyes:

hmm.... i checked the forum .. some say its gearbox freeplay ? need to reprogram wor ..... and sometimes i think the sound coming from front .. sigh ..

i tried manual ... find that it happens in 2nd gear ........ confused..

My fren told me its the axle or freeplay.He fixed the rear axle (method like what ADE said)..and the sound is very minimal now although not entirely gone.

change sparepart, coz i feel tht my brake almost finish. where can find cheap and nice work

hey cherry ur car also 4 exhaust ar at d back? if 4 exhaust 3 hundred something consider cheap liao....

yala come down pg la......i also never meet all u guys yet.....but next month no car la....car in workshop change engine. maybe curi my brother e46 hehe......
