Hi all...i wanna take my family out for lunch or dinner tomorrow...just wanting some ideas of good restaurants in town...preferably in the PJ area....and possibly in KL have a few cuisines i wanna take them: 1) Korean 2) Mexican/Italian 3) Steak (had Victoria Station today and didnt like it) thanksfranklin

Checkers Damansara Height for its yummy Mexican Pork!!!!

Uncle Ho at Mid Valley for it's Ala Carte Mix Pork Grille

Chuan Bee Kelang for it's Bak Kut Teh

Kee Hiong Kelang..oso for Bak Kut Teh..

oops...all pork wor.

Here's my recommendation:

1) Korean
Go to Korean Town in Ampang, it's across from Ampang Point. If you're taking Kesas heading towards KL, take the Jln. Ampang exit, turn right at the junction. Ampang Point is on your left now. And take right again at the first traffic light.

2) Mexican/Italian
Go to Ampang as well. And it's across from Ampang Point as well. But you turn left at the Jln Ampang exit, and turn left again when you see Shell station. It's a 1-way street now, turn 2 more left, and the restaraunt is on your left. And houses across the street. A Mexican, Italian, and French in a row. Note, the French only take accept cash.

3) Steak (had Victoria Station today and didnt like it)
Sorry, I haven't found my fav steak house in PJ/KL area yet. I like the Olive in Genting Highland though.

HTH.

regards

If u like meat try out the brazilian place in damansara jaya. They serve Brazilian grill meat buffet style. They serve at least 10 different cut of meat, ranging from beef, fish to chicken. Good food and great value.
Location: Same row as Mayban Finance at Atria

Yeah. La Risata. My personal fave when it comes to Italian food. Try the desserts..

The Mexican restaurant, La Caritas (or however u spell it) is raelly nice as well... Buritos washed down with Corona.. yum.. :p

For Korean, check out the place before Fiat on Jalan Ampang. Nice BBQ cow tongue!

Rio closed down ages ago... It's was where Rum Jungle is now.

There's one similar place in Changkat Bukit Bintang area called Bom Brazil.

Franklin.. Have a good meal ;)
