Hi guys, Would anyone know where i could get a replacement for the Kenwood CD changer that was originally fitted in the e36 year 1997? I only need the changer at the back i suppose, or anything that will fit the system without having to change the face on the dashboard. Greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me a place of reliable audio shop, new or used. Thank you. Regards

i gave mine away recently... anyway, its quie hard to find this model unless somebody here is willing to part..

but the good news is, you can use any kenwood cd changer wt ur old HU... i only knew when i installed a new kenwood set.. even all wiring, cable, connection pins are the same... so just plug and play...

good luck..

sachseelan,
Ohh no! What a timing! :) why did you change yours? Does it give u problem reading disc already? For me, i need to change it as it cant read any disc nicely anymore. Gets hang all the time and gets pretty frustrated.

machinehead, pm replied :) thank you.

It was ald 10 years old la bro... actually mine was ok.. only the auto hide cover panel on HU jammed...

yes some disc cannot read.. you can send iot for service or simply change the laser reader.. cost about $100... but i doubt any shops willing to do it unless u know them well...

good luck..
