floor welding
oh ok, because in a few weeks time i will be starting a restoration project of my 318i, and the driver side floor is completely rotted. so the entire driver side needs to be replaced. so i was told by a guy from youtube to use 20 guage for the floor and 18 guage for any support rails. but the thing is i would be removing the entire rotted section and replace it. rather than just use the sheet metal and patch. thats why i would like to know if to use the 18 guage since it much stronger. note: i will be cutting right through the floor and remove. hope you can help
