OBC Warning - Brake Linings

Guys, would appreciate some help here:Went for drive over lunch time for some errands, and when I started my car for the journey back to work, the OBC on my E32 had this warning - BRAKE LININGS.Just wondering, what does this mean? I know it was flagging out a potential error, as previously the OBC will notify me when whenever my bootlid is not closed properly, or dip beam is faulty etc. Anyways, would appreciate some lowdown on this matter. Just change mine yesterday RM150 for Textar brand front. Sensor RM28.

Thanks for sharing mate. Car's undergoing overhaul currently. Replacing almost every wear and tear part relating to the brakes...
