Number plate base frame change

Hi all,has anyone changed their no. plate base frame from the square (J-Spec) one to the rectangular (euro) one? Any major modification needed or I just source the base frame and interchange them? Thanks sifus...

I removed the j-spec base frame and plonked the bmwcm license plate holder straight to the existing mounting holes, minus the europe base frame. To gt the bmwcm frame, join as a club member.

ah ok bro affan ...but if u remove the J-spec based plate, wouln't it leave a gap in the bumper trim as it is flushed with the trim right?
