noisy door

hello< to all e36 owners if you guys have some kind of funny rubber sweeking noisy near to the door panel pls read on do you realise that when after a rain or after a car wash your car feels perfect and suddenly no more funny sound coming from the door panel? last weekend i try to find out why izit like that so i examine all the door panel rubber and also the doori its self so got to know something.. which part of our car when its raining will kena water and also when you wash your car.think about it ?what i did was i put some oil run thru the rubber parts that you can see near the door then see whats happen later ,,,, then i now have been using the car for the past 4 days still no sound like last time . feels like the door panel no need to change already so guys im trying it now see how long its last and see izizt the thing i did was right or wrong then i will confirm ... then let you all know okwant to try? do it when its still noisy dont wait untill you wash car and raining then you dont know its works or not... no harm trying anyway ....

Me havin the same prob too .... standard E36 prob i guess but must solve it la ... damn irritating at times .... likes got rat stuck inside the panel ....

when i took my car, it was also the same. Now no more. this is what i did:

- Remove all the door trim panels. Check all those loose plastics clips and replace them. tighten all the windows motor mounts and the lifters mounts. I had one of the lifters replaced as well coz i found excessive freeplay.

- Change all the rubber seals including the windows guide seals.

ok , true ah singaland parts its cheaper but i heard before that the second hand tire is cheap and alot of tread also
