New to BMW & BMW Club - Should buy a recon or a used?

Hi all,Haven't own a BMW and new to the BMW club.Am thinking of getting a UDM as a 2nd car for under 200k. Should I look at a local used one or a recon from Japan?Please advice, thanks in advance!
