e36 328i cabrio user reporting in ;) Just got it for abt 3 weeks, and stumbled upon this site..Everything bout the car is simply awesome! its light years ahead of my previous satria(haha which is only 6 mnths old) where as the beemer is already an aging 7 years old lol..Anyway guys, try this particular mechanic at Jln Semarak by the name of Ah Lok. Quite a nice guy and good workmanship, as he only has a relatively small shop so its all good...not sure how it is if the place is full though....and that was also the place where the prev owner sends his car for repairs. Reason was i visited him early today, had a problem with fuel tank leaking by the top because of a worn out rubber lining....stranded by the road side yesterday, had to call tow truck and etc...messy! :(Anyway im soo physched over this ride..gonna uprade it by small increments( as how the wallet allows) and do count me in any future TT session eh?

welcome......and welcome also to the incremental details that need to be looked into for a 7 years old car. It's requirement on your wallet will be very diffrent from your Satria. The FUN factor is HUGH. :D

Hi all, many thanks for the warmth and hospitality

tyke: I doubt that i can make it tommorow..i have to go to the airport at that time( which i used to not enjoy, but not anymore :p ), is there a future TT session on the calendar?

c-square: Hehe yeap can be said so man, im just a bachelor..so all the extra real estate in a saloon will be a waste lol

any other members or sifus with a simillar ride? prolly can teach me a thing or two bout the car..

thanks guys!

Welcome terewbonf! Check out the 328i thread started by (heh, heh) resident hardcore 328 enthusiast lee36328 and the site generally, lots of info and fellow E36ers here! How about some pics of your rare ride? Guaranteed, lots of people will commence 'racunning'

Actually, there is another dude with the same ride (auto). For the life of me, I can't remember his name, but he joined us for the Bukit Tinggi drive.

Welcome to the pleasure and pain of big 6 ownership. I say pain now because not only was the roadtax and insurance renewed last week, I just had the a/c cooling coil, etc. changed (more details to follow) for RM1,800.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its going to get to the point when so much money has been spent in the past 2 years (RM23k and counting) that I might as well keep the blardy car (see my ride in the cars for sale section if you want to).

ha ha...i applaud your guts to spill the beans on one of the taboo subject in our quest for the Ultimate UDM ownership. So many ppl here has been burned in their pockets + relationships, some to the point of no recovery. But yes, ownership of these German engineered marvel has it's harzards.

By the time we sell our beloved, it's like a giveaway. Things we do for FUN. :beaten:

Welcome, terewbonf....

share ur experience here....

e36 328 ownership experience

Also, there's an e36 TT being started... proposed time, every Monday, 9:00, Sunway Extreme Park...

The fellow cabriolet owner mentioned by wkwoo69 is ccl68. Nice fellow, and nice ride too...

On the expense of straight-six ownership... well... performance unavoidably require maintenance... it's like a sexy girl with expensive tastes... u pay through your nose, but when she performs... DAMN!!! There's nothing like it....

Welcome.. welcome... and I'd start being friendly with your credit card credit limit officer if I were you....
