Hello all brothers hereI am new here, was being poisoned by my friend recently and decided to change to a 525.I have been seeing few shop, 1 in bangsar, 1 near Jalan semarak, 2 in Setapak, all quoted me different specs and different pricing.. hence i need some advise hereThe one near Jln Semarak525i 04 M54 engine, mileage 55k, Jap Spec, 209k, claimed 1 month warrantyJln Bangsar525i 04 M54 engine, mileage 22k, Jap spec, 210k, claimed 1 month warranty525i 05 msport, 218hp, Magnesium engine, mileage 25k, Jap Spec 269k, , claimed 1 month warrantySetapak, iktiXXXraya525i 04 M54 engine, mileage 28k, Jap Spec, 210k, claimed 1YEAR warranty option to buy 3 yrs extended warranty525i 05 , salesman said new engine which i look at it was silver cover compare the the black as the 04 model but i dont know which engine type, jap spec, 235k, claimed 1YEAR warranty option to buy 3 yrs extended warrantyIf you were me, which one will you go for? pay a bit more to get the extended warranty?or pm me if you happen to know any good reliable seller.. thanks in advance

u can try SG Motor in Kim Damansara. i bought my 525 Msport last year october. went to more than 10 places n view more than 20 cars. SG motor offer a good service n the price is reasonable. just that time dun hv the model i have, tats y i din go for it. i bought mine in Ampang

I don't know about extended warranty... but normally the warranty only covers the engine and transmission. Ask for what kind of warranty that they provide. FYI... I only got 1 month warranty for engine + transmission but if nothing happens in the first month, it is highly unlikely to have problem in the near future. The key is to find a reputable seller that sells good quality cars. Looking at your thread, I would advise to go for Jalan Bangsar one... 525 M-Sport with Magnesium (N52) engine... higher hp compared to M54 engine.
Otherwise you might want to go to few more places before making decision... I agree with bc23 that SG Motor in Damansara Kim is quite good... also Beemer in Jalan University PJ... I bought my E60 there.... it has been more than 6 months and it has not once fail on me

Helo. May I add a bit here, no matter where you are gonna get your car, before u sign or pay anything,ask them to let you have the car for a vehicle inspection to a BMW specialist of YOUR choice, not to their `panel' workshop.
When i got mine, i made them agree to this deal. In my case I sent it to an authorised BMW dealer, and the DEALER shall pay for it. Both SAPURA and INGRESS will do it for you, it will cost them rm100-300 only. Anyway, goodluck.
