:hello: Hi everyone, before i start let me introduce myself a little bit.Im from KK Sabah, just join the BMW family as 1 of their staff working in AutoBavaria KK branch.We will be having our launching & opening tentitavely on 28th-30th November...Those who are happen to be around or in the future may come to pay us a visit =)I myself is a fan of BMW cars but of coz can't afford one at the moment, but i think i will be enjoying my job alot as i will be surrounded by BMW cars. The main reason i join the Club is to learn things from enthusiast like all of you and guide me in BMW world.I will upload some photos of our centre(for your viewing pleasure) in Kota Kinabalu jst to share the joy and excitement that finally BMW has come in to Sabah. BMW is all abt having fun and joy anyway, right?! [/FONT]

so it is confirm that the new building under construction besides Ford is autobavaria BMW outlet. There numeroud specualtion is it is actually fook loi trying to wrest the dealership and on its own initiative construct the place.... of which i find not too convincing. hopefully it will be a dealership for sabah. Looking forward to it....

Hi Shama, thr's a lot of version that i've heard of but definitely it has nothing to do with Fook Loil...As u know Auto Bavaria is under the Motor industry of Sime Darby group, so we are here in Sabah as the Authorised Dealer for BMW, we have our 3S centre too =)...

So by November you should be able to see us open up for Public & if u happen to dropby pls do look for me, i'll be in you service anytime =)

I thot autobavaria and sime auto are 2 different groups...

would those existing recon car dealers with CBU japan BMW be your competitor?

Shama- Im the SA based at the KK branch...And to ur question on Recon Dealers, basically we r selling 'different' product as u oradi said that they r recon=used car, so i think we could manage =)

Sachseelan- hhmm im dun really know the internal politic view on that matter in here...well jst here to learn so i jst keep it in that way, be friendly only lor =)

would your center accept BMW bought from others for servicing?

Hi Shama,

Yes, according to my branch manager we do accept those existing BMW owner to do the servicing. I think thr's certain protocol need to be follow la...

I heard that the BMW owner from KK actually send their cars to Brunei to get them fix, and our Diagnosis Specialist confirmed that later when he came to KK to work at our branch here.

As i have not been in kk for awhile now i was wondering since the bmw shop is being built next to the land rover dealership...is the shop gonna be stocking these 2 brands?
By the way what do you mean by SA? Shop assistant? Thanks and glad to meet a fellow bmw enthusiast.

u live 5 mins away from the soon the completed Autobavaria 3S center but u said u have not been in KK for a while? what doest that mean?

SA means Sales Advisor or Service Advisor..... but shop assistant means about the same if it is a sundry shop u r talking about...:wink:

jskf01 - SA means Sales Advisor so basically i'll be the one to look for if u wanna buy a BMW =)....The AB BMW showroom in Kolombong is really hard to be noticed coz the sign board is not up yet, and the building is in white with Glass so looks transparent. I have difficulty spotting it initially, hehe... Hopefully can be done by end of this month.

Saw 2 bimmers parked at land rover compound. Is it a demo car?

ahhh ok ok so will they be selling land rovers there as well? Cos my dads current discovery2 is serviced there. was wondering if they will continue with that together with servicing bimmers. yeah my family lives 5 mins away but im working in australia at the moment so. once the bmw branch is open it would be easier to consider buying cos theres service in kk FINALLY!

Shama -the 320E & 525 Sports indeed are the demo car...if u're free and wish to do a test drive definitely can jst give me a buzz and arrange for it =).....I really hope that the place can complete soon as i need a proper place to sell...hehe

jskf01 - Land Rover will be sold at the Ford Showroom, our Auto Bavaria will be selling BMW also MINI if anyone is interested. The service centre would be at 2 different places coz it's 2 different centre jst that the buildings are right next to each other facing the main kolombong highway. When would u be back from Australia? Pls do pay us a visit, remember to look for me ! ^.^
